We're Licensed as a Certified General Contractor - What This Means for You:

As a Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC), our team holds the highest level of construction licensure in the state. This designation reflects rigorous standards in knowledge, safety, and accountability, authorizing us to manage projects of any size or complexity — from high-end renovations to complete custom builds — with every detail meeting the highest professional and legal standards.

Q: What’s the difference between a Building Contractor and a Certified General Contractor (CGC) in Florida?
A: A Building Contractor is limited to homes and buildings up to three stories. A Residential Contractor is limited even further — just single-family homes and small residences. A Certified General Contractor (CGC), on the other hand, is licensed for all structures statewide with no height or size limits.

Q: Why does it matter?
A: Working with a CGC gives you the assurance that your contractor has met the highest education, experience, and exam standards. It also means greater accountability: the state requires higher insurance and bonding, so your project has more protection and oversight.

Q: What does this mean for me as a client?
A: Whether it’s a condo remodel, a new build, or a large commercial project, a CGC has the credentials and authority to manage it legally and safely — from start to finish.
